The 510 - LD automatic kit
Thank you for your purchase
of our custom made 510-LD e-cig kit. Here are a few tips and tricks to get you
started.
Filling the cartomizers (cartos):
·
The cartomizers
are refillable by removing the soft rubber cap on the top. If you are using an
automatic battery, then remove the cartomizer from the battery before you fill
it. Try to drip in the e-liquid along the inside edges of the carto so the
liquid absorbs into the white filler and not down the center tube. A brand new
carto can hold about 20 drops of e-liquid. Only drip in about 5 drops, then
wait a few seconds for the liquid to absorb into the filler; then repeat until
the white filler looks nice and saturated. Wait 30 seconds and then screw the
carto onto the battery. If you do get e-liquid down the center tube, you can
wait a little longer for it to clear out on it's own
our give a small sharp blow into the top of the carto (with the white rubber
cap on). This will shoot any excess e-liquid out the bottom.
·
TIP: You can
prevent e-liquid from going down the center by inserting a toothpick the center
tube before filling.
·
If you are using
a manual or eGo battery, then you don't need to worry
about getting e-liquid into the battery because manual batteries are sealed on
top.
Maintenance and Care:
·
The cartomizers
need no care or cleaning as they are semi-disposable. After several refills
they will start to clog up and lose their power. When your carto is near the
end of it's life you will notice that it won't hold as
much e-liquid, and/or produce less vapor, and/or start to give off a dryer
taste.
·
The battery
will need to be cleaned once in a while on the top where it connects to the
carto. Any dirt or gunk in the battery connection will impede it's power output. If you let gunk build up too much, it can
even cause your battery to auto-fire. Do NOT clean out this gunk with a metal
object or you can short out your battery. Use a wooden toothpick or a Q-Tip
dipped in rubbing alcohol.
·
Make sure you do
NOT get e-liquid inside the battery through the air flow hole on the top; this
can also cause your battery to auto-fire. If you do, you can clean out the
battery connection with a paper towel, let it air dry standing on it's end, or even give it a small shot of compressed air.
