Then came along the eGo-T tank system further simplifying vaping and taking out more of the hassle. That quickly evolved to the eGo-C system which lowed the long term costs of vaping.

And now the eGo series looks to take another evolutionary leap as in integrates variable voltage into the formula. I think this is a great thing and will give us the option to carry an all in one versatile device in a small convenient package.

As you can see there is now two versions of the Kanger Cartomizers: The 510 version and the eGoXL version.

What's the diff?

As a kanger man; I'm the one to ask. I have been vaping on nothing but the 510 Kanger cartomizer for the last several months with the exception of testing new products and a short lived love affair with the eGo-C atomizer when she was so new and pretty.

First the breakdown. Both are made by Kanger. Both are a "H-Coil" Horizontal coil cartomizer. Both have the coil at the bottom of the carto, where it should be so juice can saturate down to the coil and not be wasted at the top of the filler. The eGo version holds more juice, twice as much juice. About 2ml vs. 1ml of usable space. Is this a good thing? Well, yes and no. Having twice the e-liquid in your carto does mean only having to re-fill in 1/2 as much, yes. But it also puts more juice at risk of being wasted or "left on base" if you carto dies on you. And what if you received a DOA carto by chance? If you didn't test fire it, then you may have just poured 60 drops of e-liquid down the proverbial drain. The eGo version is also rated at 10% lower resistance, 1.8ohms vs. 2.0 omhs. Does this make the eGo version 10% more powerful? Not really, because it is larger and the atomizer heating coil is furtheraway from your mouth, giving the vapor more space to travel and cool. I think the eGo version may kick out more vapor, but it is smoother, cooler vapor with less throat hit.

So which one do I like better? If I had to give you a one word answer under pressure, I would say "510". I actually do prefer the eGO version in the mornings and during the day because I like the big clouds of smoother vapor. I also love the duck bill flat mouthpiece tip on the eGo carto; reminds me of smoking a Colt or Old Port cigar. But in the evening when I can really focus on enjoying a vape, I do prefer the trusty old 510 version. I just find it quicker to the point and gets me there faster.
